Yes I do: A total of 7 files AESLite-CYUL-FLI B.bgl, AESLite-CYUL-FLIB10.bgl, AESLite-CYUL-HW1.bgl, AESLite-CYUL-HW2.bgl, AESLite-CYUL-TM1.bgl, AESLite-CYUL-TM2.bgl and AESLite-CYUL-VOR.bgl

AESLite-CYUL-FLI B.bgl is a misprint. It should read AESLite-CYUL-FLIB.bgl

I'll email the developer for you to see if he has any ideas what might be wrong. I'm a little stumped.

Oliver, the developer of AES, looked into your problem & asked me to post a message for him.
His first point I forgot. Do you have FSX service pack 2 installed? Or FSX Acceleration?

I hope this helps you solve the issue.

Here's Oliver's message...
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- First, it's important to know, which FSX Version he has: FSX+ACC or FSX+SP2 (FSX+SP1 don't work)

- Then check if there are *.LOG Files in the <FSX>\Vistamare or <FSX>\Vistamare\Bin Folder

- One other option to maybe solve issues is to install AES once (no need for credits or activations). AESHelp has some checks for issues around the DLL.XML, which maybe is damaged

- Download the AES Installer http://www.aerosoft2.de/downloads/aes/A ... s_V225.zip

- unzip and run the installer

- If AESHelp reports errors when starting, give us the error message

- If no errror happens, check if the Vistamare Modules are running now in FSX and the Vistamare Menu below ADD-ONS can be seen

- If you don't want to use AES after that, just delete the "AES Basepack" entry in the scenery library and delete the AES Folder below <FSX>\Aerosoft

Bgrds

I am using FSX Acceleration. There are several recommendations in Olivers message What should I do first and in what order?

There are no LOG fies in Vistamare or Vistamare bin file. Will try loading AES see what that does. Hopefully it will not mess up my system

AES has been installed with no effect. Vistamare still not working and still no road traffic on any of the roads within several km.of the airport/ Curiously in the AES Airport Activation Window.. FS Tampa's Montreal is not listed - wheras my other Fly Tampa sceneries are. No LOG files in Vistamare or in Vistamare bin file Running FSX Acceleration. Also running REX 2.0 any known issue there?

AES doesn't add much traffic on the highways. Use my Fly_Montreal_FSX_Traffic.zip on the first page of this thread for that.

What we are looking for here is the moving vehicles on the Apron amongst the aircraft. You still have nothing moving there?
Check your CYULTraffic App & make sure its all ticked like shown here..

Hi again George. My issue all along has been no moving road traffic on the highways and roads within a large perimeter if the airport - nothing on the Transcanada (40) or 20 roadways. It may as well be FS2004 because you do not see the flowing traffic as in FSX - which is great , especially on short final and Takeoff. It totally detracts from the scenery. That BGL file at the beginning of the thread - which is supposed to return the default FSX road traffic and unchecking the 2 Highway boxes in Vistamare does not work. I would simply like for there to be traffic on the roads and highways around CYUL. I have not experienced this problem with any other Fly Tampa sceneries. I could do this before with the Blueprint Scenery - which has been completely removed and cleared from the library prior to Fly Tampa Montreal being installaed. I have reinstalled countless times and still no traffic. Am I missing a file perhaps. Hoping we can fix this or this scenery is useless to me. Thanks

Theres loads of traffic on 40.

Can you tell me the filesize &/or properties of a file in the Montreal\scenery folder called cvxMONTREAL.BGL?

Also, a screenshot of the airport. I want to see if its even installed as it should be.

Running the patched cvxMONTREAL.BGL (attached on the first page on this thread), you should have results like below.
It doesn't even need Vistamare & I even added more traffic than the stock airport.

If its still not working, I can only guess. It could be leftovers from a old scenery installed in the various folders within FSX.

Because neither my cvxMONTREAL.BGL or AES Lite traffic are working, makes me curious if the scenery is even installed &/or active.

Hopefully we can figure it out together soon.

I've attached the file again. This time Unzipped.

Certainly: File Size is 759 Bytes Size on Disk 4.0KB I've attached 3 images - this is basically how the roads look for a large perimeter around CYUL. Sorry they are not clear Print Screen function does not appear to be working so took manual image of screenshot

The screenshot you just sent is EXACTLY what I would expect to see. This is annoying

Thanks
