Dubai installation-PLEASE HELP

I don't have a major problem with Dubai, but I have a question with the installation. I checked all of the options in installation(animated cars, foggy city etc...) of Dubai X exept for "set texture max load to 4096" I was wondering what this did. Does it make the add-on load more textures or something?

Help is very much appreciated.

If I'm right it installs 4096x4096 ultra high resolution HD textures.

I can't say I've noticed any difference, one thing to remember is if you do decide to set it at 4096, whenever you go into your FSX/FS9 settings for whatever reason, the sim will automatically change it back to 1024.

There are a couple of ground textures in Dubai like the concrete around the terminal that are 2048 textures. These will display the lower res 1024 unless the "Max Texture 4096" option / CFG tweak is enabled.

My FSX.cfg file is tweaked to max texture load 4096
I did NOT check it in the Dubai install.
If i have 4096 in my fsx.cfg do I then have to check it in the install options ?

No, its the same thing and would just overwrite the fsx with the same value you already have.
