This may take some time. lol

I have started with the original dubai-city 10.bgl and everything is fine.

I am now adding bgls starting with dubai-city 1.bgl .....I am already seeing parts that popped up and down in my video that are no longer doing so.

I will keep adding them one by one until I see a problem. :|

Edit: I have put all the bgls back and cannot recreate the problem.

I can only imagine the problem is memory or the lack of it....... I am now trying with real weather.

Well guys I am stumped!

I flew the same Sikorsky S-76 at the same time of day, the same weather, the same traffic .....I even ran fraps as well!

But I cannot recreate the problem....everything is working as it should.

I am using the omdb_flatten.bgl and the omdb_rwylights_fix.bgl

Thanks Ed. Very odd, but glad that worked somehow.

If someone else still has the problem, please try this instead. Delete just the file:

Addon Scenery/FlyTampa-Dubai/SCENERY.dat

I still have this problem.
Martin please try to compile all buildings (full Dubai area) as one BGL. We will test.

Start the simulator. You will see scenery.dat file in scenery folder again.

Martin
Please make one BGL for entire city area. We will test. I think it will solve the problem.

Can't be done, there is a limit to BGL size in FS9.

Hi there

First of all, congratulations for your highly detailed scenery. I'm so happy with OMDB reboouted, and this week I had the chance to do several test flights.
First: Fortunately I do not experience the low FPS in FS9 which other users reported (my system is not the newest!)
But when I arrive at night, it happens also to me, that some parts of autogen disapears. It's just a very small angle of view which cause this. If I fly in a VC or exterior view, it's just a very very small angle if the autogen disapears or pop up.
At day time, I didn't had this problem. I also removed the Scenery.dat you mentioned.

Regards
Patrick

Sorry to say I’m having this issue too, (FS9 windows7) and as above where stuff seems to disappear only when viewed at certain angles. Eg, 10:00 to 11:00 and 3:00 to 5:00 I get nothing but the rest of the clock face it’s fine. Strangely the pics the original poster put up are are areas which are working fine for me and it’s other parts and a section of the tarmac ground texture at the airport that disappear.
To quote Martin from earlier, “If there is perhaps some CFG setting they have in common etc” Just in case you're right could you perhaps post a working FS9 cfg so we could check if there are any significant differences to ours and see if changing things does make any difference.

You can always backup your FS9.cfg (rename it), then when there is no fs9.cfg there, it will create a one with default settings on next load. Least it does so in FSX, don't recall if FS9 did as well but i think so.
