Optional Default Runway Lights (FS9 only)

To use FS9 default lighting for OMDB's runway, download the file below into:

FS9/Addon Scenery/FlyTampa-Dubai/scenery/

The following files must also be deleted or renamed to remove the custom lighting:

Thanks Martin ... but will there be an other solution somewhen, as this doesn`t fit this scenery`s standards ... ?

I doubt there will be another solution because there is no way we can force the users' system to have the right combination of settings regarding texture filtering etc. So our custom halos will always be prone to look different/wrong depending on mipmap, anisotripic, global max texture and other settings I'm not even aware of. The default lights above are the same used in almost every FS9 scenery to date, it doesn't replace the runways themselves, just the lights.

Ok ... no big problem and thanks for the quick answer ! just did a night flight and even with the default - lights it was simply overwhelming !

Short Testflight:

Looked very good for me and I can also now see the PAPI lights from the distance. Thanks Martin :-)

Please increase the distance the taxilights/signs appear. I think this is not a framekiller and will look better.

PS: Actual thinking about buying new CPU :D

Where exactly does the default runway lights work for? Personally I'm using the runway lights that Dubai come with, and it looks very realistic... Is there any problem with them?

This optional default lighting was made for users whose custom lights look like this for whatever reason/setting:

If you the custom lights are working fine for you, leave them. They are better matched to the lighting poles and papi boxes anyway.
