I highly doubt Sharjah is included in 'Dubai Rebooted'.

I definitely won't be complaining if it's included, however - even if it's not, I'm sure someone will make it work teehee. :)

There's already a Sharjah with the main terminal, better jetways and apron extension, and new hangars at the western end (Matthew Ministry freeware on Avsim) and half of Abu Dhabi (same author) on Flightsim, Simviation and Avsim - "half" because the midfield terminal isn't built yet either in the real world or in the sim, so although they're not covered in FT detail, they are out there meaning at least we don't have to fly at default airports. The newer version of SHJ borrows components from AUH (lighting poles, jetways etc).

Even though I was slightly involved in making those, I'd have no problem with FT blowing past and making definitive versions either! Also, Al Bateen could use a facelift, adding that mega-mosque nearby and the new bizjet facilities. In fact the Dubai city extension to the south gets quite close to Abu Dhabi.

This new DXB is very impressive, I'm sure MM will be out in a helicopter looking for his houses (he bought stuff there when the market bottomed out).

I'm a resident in Dubai too so the first thing is definitely going to be 'spotting' for my house and other areas I frequently visit. Come on FT, holding on by that one last hair on my head. :)

For those wondering if X and Y is included....

Here is the coverage map from the Dubai-Manual. The darker area is what has 3D coverage, the bright area does not. 3D coverage gets sparser towards the edges of the dark area. major buildings are custom built, many others are generic. Generic meaning they are still custom made by us but repeated in different places. There is no actual "Autogen" at all in this scenery.

Buildings that are under construction, half finished etc are not included but maybe added in future updates.

PS: Red dots in the map are helipads.

Thank you Martin for clarifying the scenery details. Even if the buildings aren't all different, I still find this extensive amounts of detail. Constantly refreshing this page to read that one word 'Released' ;)
Hope you aren't holding back the airport on purpose, just for fun :P
