Issue With Airport Recognition/Record With FS Flight Keeper And FS Passengers

Hi George

We are in front from this issue at our virtual airline. The FS Flight Keeper and FS Passengers are recording at the end of the flight "ZGAV" instead of "LGAV".
The virtual pilots can correct this at FSFK and send the pirep of flight but it is impossible to do this at FS Passengers(FS Passengers issue)

Any suggestions, thanks

Yeah there's a similar issue when switching to the tower view at FSX (ZGAV is displayed instead of LGAV).

I don't have any real understanding of either FS Flight Keeper or FS Passengers but a ultimate solution is to disable the 3d Bridges in the FlyAthens installer. ZGAV will be gone after that.

I use FSPassengers and on first flight it told me that I landed on ZGAV while my registered flight was to LGAV... so I added in the icao.cfg ZGAV as a new entry and on the next flight I registered as a destination airport ZGAV but it told me that I have landed at LGAV... So I have no idea what's going on with that :S

Hahahaha. Weird. Never mind although if it works!
WIll try it.
Just tell me, you edite the icao.cfg of FS passengers and deleted LGAV or just made a new entry of ZGAV?

Antony

Well, disabling the bridges isn't really a solution, is it? So, I'd appreciate it if a future update fixes this issue, as there might be a problem with other apps, like FSAirlines where we cannot modify its database

Its the only solution i have right now. I don't run the fs passenger software or similar.

There is another solution... In FSPassengers just don't set any destination airport... ;) You will see on the report that it's been automatic detected after the end of the flight.. ;) I do not know if it will detect LGAV or ZGAV though... :P

I don't have FS passengers or similar software so if you guys would be kind enough to test a potentail solution I'd appreciate it.

I've attached a new ZGAV file which as you know is needed for the 3D Bridges to function. Please remember that the 3D bridges are not a feature Microsoft designed. They are a hack; as are so many features in FS9 & FSX. So some side effects can happen in complex airports like this one.

FSX & FS9 versions attached. Please ensure you only install ONE file per simulator.

It

seems to work. I have made a test flight without problems, logged with FS Flight Keeper and FS Passengers too.

George, for the record, I have see that you have moved the "ZGAV" airport position a little bit to the East, is that correct?

Thanks
