YPPH -Perth International Airport

Hi All,

This is my first post on here which is a suggestion for a new airport which I am yet to see a good version of which is Perth International Airport (which I happen to work at). Its not a big airport in comparison to other Australian states like Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane however Perth has a lot of flights both Internationally, Domestically and Regionally. It has many Airlines servicing it:

Domestic - Total of 5
Qantas, Skywest, Virgin Blue, Jetstar, Tiger

Regional - Total of 11
Skippers Aviation, Strategic, Network Aviation, National Jet, Alliance, Cobham and few others

International
Air Mauritius, Air Asia, Air Asia X, Air New Zealand, Cathay Pacific, Emirates, Garuda Indonesia, Jetstar, Strategic, Qantas, Royal Brunei, Singapore Airines, South African Airways, Thai, Tiger Airways, Virgin Blue and Pacific Blue.




Perth International has 3 Terminals; Terminal 1 for International Flights with 5 Aerobridges (Bays 51, 52, 53, 54, 55) and Terminals 2 and 3 which are domestic terminals 2 being for Qantas ONLY and Terminal 3 a Multi-user Terminal.
with most regional airlines having their own terminal excluding a few who use Terminal 3.

Perth has 2 runways which cross which are runways 03 and 06. Perth is known for strong easterly winds off the Darling Scarp which is close by and is located within a fairly good distance from Perth CBD.

Perth has had a very interesting history with events such as an aircraft attempting to land on road running parallel to one of the runways; as well as an Emergency Landing by an Emirates A380.

Just an idea, hope someone likes the idea.
