Plus, we work on each sceney solo, so it takes a long time with the high detailed modelling required these days.

I see... :) So, its still too early for the complete package preview. From the details of the 1 screenshot, I must admit I was led to believe that it was very near its release date. But, thank you for explaining your methods and setting me straight. :D

I'd love to switch to FSX if it could look as good or better than my FS9 setup and perform the same and the fact of the matter is, unless I really spend for another new computer (which I'm not willing to do with Microsoft Flight looming in the not too too distant future), I won't be able to have my wish fulfilled. Without any AI, I can probably run FSX okay with not too shabby settings but I couldn't imagine flying without any AI when I'm not flying on VATSIM so you can bet I will stick with FS9, most likely until Flight and then I'll upgrade to at least the standards of Flight.

We can go back to the old system of showing nothing until near complete if you'd prefer?
Please don't...it is just James...he can easily be ignored. :P

Sorry for my offtop question, do you plan to remake Dubai airport accordingly nowadays?
Really really hope!
Yes, there are plans for a Dubai remake.

I hope they will form into a real project one day... PMDG is doing the 777 so its a dream airport for Emirates flights all over the world using the various versions of the 777...

Surprising some of you guys I still sticking with FS9 after so long. I always thought once brute CPU power pushed FSX's 10 billion lines of code out of single digit Frame Rates, everyone would upgrade. I hope you hardcore AI guys will be happy with FS9 for 'another' decade
To me, using a 10 year old piece of software is just crazy. I blame FSXs failures.
I partly blame FSX's shortcomings. A big 'mistake' in my humble opinion was that they let FS9 mature for three years (instead of two), which allowed third party devs to go nuts and a lot of us purchased like crazy. Dumping all that and starting over again just because FSX may be running okay now is not an option. Now, if FSX were to actually offer some improvements in the areas I'm interested in (ATC/AI, no surprise), it'd be another story. Flight looks great so far, but if they fail to address a great deal of issues that have been with us for a decade, I'm happy to use FS9 for another decade. It works great on W7, so it can be done. But I hope for all of us, that that won't be necessary.

The aprons are complete minus dirt overlays. I'm disappointed you can't see that. Maybe you need to click the picture to load the high res version?

Geroge,

Speechles from the quality :)

A small request if possible, when time comes, and supposing LGAV will be AES compatible, would it be possible to sent Oliver the current gate textures to be used in AES?

Glad to hear that a FS9 version is being considered as I use it as my big iron sim. For the main reason mentioned, AI 100% is FSX just does not cut it for frame rates.

That being said the FSX KTPA version blew away the FS9 version! Just wish FSX can take the AI bull by the horns.
