Black Line;

Hello;

I no this topic has been mentioned before,and there was a fix for it,but its not working,I recently upgraded to a windows 7,64bit system,I have Fsx Accelearatin installed,with Sp2,downloaded St.Maarteen,and installed the patches,for the problems,and installed the update,but the black line is still appearing.Was wondering if there is some way to correct this.

Yes,thats the line,I've downloaded the patch for the line,but it does not help,I was wondering if there was another fix for this,by the way,the update looks great.

Are you sure you put the update-file in the right place? It is simply an exclude that removes the building from which the shadow comes.

I downloadd the update,and it was placed in the FSX folder,I have FSX installed on the D-drive,so that nothing will bother it,maybe I should start with a fresh install,not adding any of the fixes,and just the update.

I just un-installed St. Maarteen,removed all items,re-installed,the original program,with the update,the original program had a choice of where to install;I selected the FSX folder in the D-drive,the update doesn't give you a choice,so I guess its going to the right location,also in the Fsx scenery list,I have the original St.Marteen that comes with Fsx,is all the way at the bottom of the list.So I'm at a loss now.

FSX's "St Maarten" default needs to stay active. "FlyTampa-Maarten" needs to be higher in the list.

The black line BGL update in the other thread needs needs to be saved to the folder:

(d:)/FSX/Addon Scenery/FlyTampa-Maarten/scenery/

I got it straightened out,no more lines,thanks,but there is one more thing,there is this boat sitting in a parking lot,before I installed St.Maarteen,it use to be in the water,its in the parking lot behind the old terminal.

You have to post a shot of this boat. I have no idea without seeing what boat and where.

Well,today I started Fsx up,went it St.Maarteen airport,and there were no boats on the concrete,no lines,everything looked good,I don't no what happened,but it looks good.

Sorry for not getting back earlier,am enclosing the image of the boat,and now there is a building there to,I just re-installed FSX the other day,and finally installed some of my add-ons,the St.Marteen (fsx)scenery is at the bottom of the list.

Both the ship and yellow building as from the default FSX scenery. I cannot replicate the problem even with the scenery library items inverted. Perhaps check that you have the file:

Addon Scenery/FlyTampa-Maarten/scenery/maarten_excl_fsx_simple.BGL

Sorry for not getting back to you earlier about this,I was finally able to get it corrected,removed the St.Maarteen scenery,also the PW scenery,and the Ultimate Airport Environment,defragmented the system,re-installed all again,the ship,and building in the parking lot,are now gone,its strange,but its fixed.
