Yea... add my name to the list of Kai Tak wannabies!

Chris... I know you are considering several Far East airports to model so if you need additional input on Kai Tak... please let me know. I have just re-established contact with a 30 year veteran of the aiport. Talk about a high-level connection!

Coming to you from someone who sent you a certain video tape on the subject. (... and I don't mean the Paris Hilton videotape! :P )

Hi,

you can count me in too for Kai Tak! Would make a dream come true....a flytampa quality Kai Tak!

prepaying would be fine for me too.

Count me in as a pay before type if thats what it requires to make it get off the ground.
I am quite sorry this thread degenerated for a while but hopefully now its back on track to see what type of interest is actually around for a new Kai Tak and if it would be a profitable thing for the guys to do.
Hopefully it would be!!
All the best

There is already a nice Kai Tak freeware out there and as for Narita, Simmer's Sky already has a good payware out which is friendly on fps with lots of detail.

With this kind of retarded logic you could say there is nice freeware for the entire world.

True there is freeware scenery for Kai Tak but calling it nice is a stretch. Thomas Kwong built that scenery for FS2000, 5 going on 6 years ago!

& ya Simmer Sky made amazing Japanese scenery and I'm sure he made a killing. :P

It is amazing and I don't think it was all that expensive if that's what you mean. The scenery didn't just cover one airport, it covered several with great detail. For the price, it was a steal.

Just add my vote for KAI TAK... That is one scary approach.. Thow in some real world weather (WIND) - and - sure gets the juices flowing...

Other than my home stomping ground in the US - Kai Tak is one of my favorite destinations...

Scott

why do you ask for Kai Tak? We allready have the flightsoft scenery which is really great and does not hurt the fps

there are so many important but still untouched areas...

Athens
Istanbul Ataturk
Tel Aviv Ben Gurion

i dont understand why people are asking for allready available sceneries.. beside that Kai Tak is allready gone!
