Runway Status Lights System

Post by donpilot » Fri May 28, 2010 3:06 pm

Hi George,

Not that after all that work you probably want any new updates to consider implementing at Boston, but....

See attached for information on the new Runway Status Lights System (RWSL) at Boston. More info at http://rwsl.net/ I have no idea at all how you'd really implement that, or if you'd want to.... :?

Also, a question -- Taxiway D seems to differ from the real world airport diagram in that ours connects between C and E/4R. In the RW diagram, there's a dog leg in the middle there and it goes from C to P/4R. You probably know that, or maybe I've done something wrong, but I thought I'd ask if you were aware of that.

Many thanks, as always, for such a wonderful product!

Don

Hey Don, The saftey lighting system is currently impossible to implement. There's no way to make lights aware of Aircraft movements that I know of.

The taxiway I did noticed was incorrect a little too late. I used a Massport engineering blueprint which later changed after i'd completed 10s of hours worth of ground work.
