Bought it this week along with the Sibwings Bird Dog.

I really like it. The trees and autogen alone are very good. I do have some gripes in regards to Olympia, since it's my hometown but nonetheless, very happy. Be aware it does hit frames hard and I'm running an i7, GTX 260, 6GB of RAM.

Bill W's work is fantastic. If they do KOLM, I'll buy it, but other than that, their prices for the GA ports are too much $$$ in my opinion. YMMV.

I agree, the prices for the GA airports are high.

Cities are always going to give bad FPS though...I end up setting my Autogen slider to sparse in Seattle. :(

What's messed up with Oly ?
I only have the demo, with no plans on buying the scenery.

Hey Paavo,
FTX left out the flippin' capitol building. You'd think that a HUGE icon in Olympia would be included. They did decide to put in two Port cranes, so I can't figure that one out. It's there in the default scenery.

But they spruced up Oly a good bit and it has much more of that "O town" feel to it. But at least my old work building in Seattle is there in photoscenery glory. Couldn't believe that one

The Bird Dog, with its huge windows and slow speed, make for incredible sight seeing. I'm in love with this bug smasher.

By the way, I just made the move to FSX last week. Mrs. NWarty is about to kill me for the amount of payware purchases I've made in the past week to get FSX up to snuff.

You should ask them to put the Capitol back on their forums.

I just had a thought, if the capitol is gone maybe the tax increases we are facing will be gone to.
I know, wishful thinking.

You get a bad FPS hit? I have a bottlenecked i5 w/ 8400gs and got 12FPS, 3 less than usual.

Yeah I agree with all FTX is okay I mean if your a big bush flyer and stay below 5OOO ft it looks good but if your flying at 16000 ft it looks alot like GEX or default in some places for sure I won't be buying this at all..

Well I got my DVD yesterday, extremely happy the demo turns the product down. I was flying a C152 at 3000feet for 1hour around Darrington > Concrete > A farm.
