Just curious - what is the labor requirements for airports such as JFK, SFO or AMS in terms of number of hours.

Let's say that it requires 100 hours of pure technical labor to build a good-quality airport. Average salary of good IT (software) specialist with 10yrs of experience in DC area is roughly $130k (don't beat me on that please - I know that each case is different). Thus, assuming standart USDOL 2,080 hours annual workload, we have $62.50 labor rate per hour assuming fringe, vacation and holiday. So, labor-alone cost of the airport is $6,520.

Arnaud, do you have your credit card ready? :D

To do KJFK, it'd take more than 100hours. If It was we'd probably see scenery from FlyTampa every 2months (remember George and Martin work solo) id imagine it take something like 600hours.
