In the version I have on KTPA v 1.2 I was wondering why there is no parking slots for heavies? I see small and medium. Did I do a bad install and they didn't come through or was this airport made without them? Just curious. Love being able to fly out of the airport I live in and go east to KACY and KEWR where I used to live ( NJ ) I can't sit still for more that 2 hours so short flights work best for me.
Be curious to see the reply. Love FlyTampa's work.

Heavies
So I guess most of the big stuff goes to Orlando and Miami. See being a novice I'd consider a 757 to need a larger than "medium" parking space. But I guess not. Thanks Martin for the clarification.
Re: Heavies
In AFCAD and AI terms, the 757 needs a Gate Small spot radiused at 25m.knarfage wrote:So I guess most of the big stuff goes to Orlando and Miami. See being a novice I'd consider a 757 to need a larger than "medium" parking space. But I guess not. Thanks Martin for the clarification.
If there is no spot to that size available, the AI 757 will look for the next largest spot to park at, if none is available to suit, it will land and simply dissapear from the airport.
Thanks Tom
As I said being a novice I dont know all the ins and outs of the airports and what planes fit where. I have a good idea but I know where to go, like here to ask questions about stuff like that. I appreciate the help. Getting ready for a flight sim trip KTPA to KACY, check out weather up there : )
Did a run the other night KACY to KTPA in 737, when Florida had all the wind and rain. Got to about Ga. and no wind or any problems even thought the storm was up that far. I hit St. Augustine and you wanna talk a bumpy ride into Tampa. I use Active Sky for the weather. It was dead on that night.
