sugestion: Boston Logan for FSX

Post by pilot7893 » Sun Oct 05, 2008 6:30 pm

I live in Boston. That's why I was so exited to see Logan International as scenery. I was even more exited to see it was freeware. I was then extremely dissapointed to find out it was only compatible with FS2004, which I do not have. However, I DO have FSX. If you could make a version compatible for FSX (freeware also), or tell me how to make it compatible, it would be greatly appreciated. BTW, I'm new here. Nice to be on a new forum. :)

As far as im concerned, Boston was made free, and theres no obligatory support on it. and I highly doubt there might be a Boston X done by George ;)

Do yourself a favor and spend the $10 - $20 and go go buy a FS9, and then download Boston for free, and then you can also buy all the other amazing FlyTampa Sceneries. Only then can you experience flight sim at its finest!!!!!!! :D

If you do see an all new KBOS I doubt it would be freeware. I personally think it was a mistake to release it as freeware the first time. George is way to nice considering the amount of work that went into it.

Beverly, MA is not Boston, MA...

Don't say I don't know the area because I do.

Really? Because Beverly is actually just shy of 20 miles from Boston...

Which doesn't make it apart of Boston....dude.

You live in what is called the "North Shore area"....not Boston.

Maybe it's easier to say your from Boston, I tell people who don't live near here that I'm from Seattle, when I really live 35 miles away. That way I avoid the whole "where is that" discussion and explanation.

I only commented because he said "[He] live[s] in Boston" while his little side info. says, "Beverly, MA"...which knowing the area, I know is not Boston. Now if he said, "I live near Boston" then I wouldn't have commented. But I do understand what you are saying.

Ya, now that I think about it I say "Seattle area" or "near Seattle" when people ask me where I'm from. Funny thing is out here even 20 miles from Seattle can be like a different world in terms of people and culture.

Well, maybe I should give up on the idea of BostonX. I mean, even with a Ge-force 9400, my comp STILL can't handle even the default Boston.
