Problem with Installer

Hi,

during the installation of Kai Tak the installer displays me following message: "extract: error writing to file kt_terr_2x1.bmp".
i ordered it at simmarket.com

can anybody help me?

Did you try and redownload the installer ?
Were there any virus scanners running when you downloaded ?

During beta using Vista32 loading FS9 I reported a problem with several .bmps

When I do an install back and forth between static and non static I get from time to time files that hang on me.

kt_terr_ 2x1.bmp, kt_terr_2x4.bmp, etc.

I thought Martin got it fixed. When the installer hangs hit ignore and finish the install. Now do a new install and see if that .bmp goes through.

I could never figure that one out during Beta and nobody else reported it. I looked at the installer code and there is nothing special about how that particular file gets copied. The file itself seems fine too, otherwise a whole section of the airport-ground would not be rendering at all (the 13 threshold area).

Why this error message only appears on some systems (few it seems) is still a mystery to me.

thanks for help.
I have no idea why, but now it works. I downloaded it four times and the installer completed it without any errors.
