Compatibility to Flight1 'Islands of the west Indies'

Hello!

This new product looks like another showcase of your amazing talents... Wow!

However I have questions before buying:

* How is the compatibility to Flight1's "Islands of the West Indies"? Since I own the CD version, this is of special interest to me.

* I remember that the installer for LOWW offered some excellent compatibility options. Is the same true for this product?

* If there is no automated compatibility procedure, will you provide instructions on how to integrate this amazing scenery with IWI?

Another suggestion: Maybe this could be included in the release notes.

I think the best thing would be ask at the flight 1 forums which bgl's you need to disable in the IWI package to make these two work together.

I have just figured out how to get my FlyTampa scenery compatible with Chirs' West Indies scenery.

Remove or rename the following files in the \scenery\west indies\scenery folder:

Do NOT remove StBartsFLAT.bgl

Remove or rename the afcad files in the \addon scenery\scenery folder:
IWI1_AF2_TFFG.BGL
IWI1_AF2_TFFJ.BGL
IWI1_AF2_TNCM.BGL

Everything apears to be okay on my system. Of course, you lose the Grand Case airport, but I think that is a small price to pay.

Where is your StBartsFLAT.bgl file located? I have all the IWI parts (seperate not combined version) and don't appear to have that file.

Jack,
I have the updated combined version, so all my files are in the single folder \scenery\west indies\scenery.

I imagine that it would be in the Part 1 scenery if you have the separate parts.

I found that if StBartsFlat.bgl was removed, I got a huge sand dune across the threshold of the runway at TFFJ, so I have left it installed.

My attempt is purely trial and error. I am no scenery scientist

I found it in the update files at the IWI forum, thanks it saved shovelling all that sand.
