coded AFCAD2 file?

Post by big_al » Sat Apr 14, 2007 9:49 pm

Is there a parking coded afcad2 file for TNCM? I am not sure where the smaller airplanes park, commuters, or even the heavies, and the smaller cargo companies like amflight, amerijet, roblex, etc.

And thank you flytampa for once again raising the bar, you guys rock!

Alex

I assume you are refering to the parking spots in the FSX version correct?

All the parking spots are based on the half wingspan aircraft.cfg value. If the AI or User Plane is not set correctly by the modler then Planes will not park where they are suppose to.

TNCM does not have the room for the type FP's that are developed using TTools that many developers use. The smaller Cargo planes will park at either the GA east or the GA west ramps.

Gates A1-4 are the 4 with Jetways and the left 2 are Heavy gates, the right 2 are mid size Gates. Parking Stands B 1-3 are to the left of the Jetways and handle small, medium and 1 large size B747/A343. Gate C1-4 is nothing more then a doorway leaving the Terminal with a people transport to the Commuter Terminal that sits closest to the runway. The ground ramp markings have numbers such as 6, 7, 8, 9, etc.

Slide the ground scenery Living World animation slider to the far right and it will help ident all the commerical parking spots due to the pushback tug showing in the scenery. There are also some overflow Airline parking Stands as per Google Earth that were added next to the fuel farm.

hey Jim, no I mean FS9. I wasn't sure where the 727s of amerijet park, or what area the smaller props of ameriflight, roblex, etc park.

Hello Al

OK, FS9

You can use the AFCAD program and look at the af2_TNCM when working with FS9. I am not sure who the original designer of that AFCAD is.

The reason I was explaining the FSX TNCM is because the compliant afx bgl cannot be viewed with the AFCAD program.
