This could be caused by either too slow hardware (gfx card memory) but also a faulty plane texture. Please let me know your hardware specs.

I must admit, I experienced the same sort of problem when I was using walk and follow, I would have to return to the default camera angles, let the scenery load, and go into walk and follow and take the shot quickly. Not a biggy for me.

You know what model? the old 9600? AGP? I see you have AA and AF enabled (which you should)... But turn those off and see if it makes a difference. The card may just be "overloaded" with this task.

Just FYI eee722, As I was reading the PDF manual, it mentions that the old TNCM Terminal is considered a Land Mark and will not be removed . I haven't had a chance to load the scenery yet, but look forward to it. Anyway, I hope this cleared that part up for you. I hope you get things sorted out with the other issue.

Best regards, Jeff

If it works with AA and AF off you can start putting them back up slowly. This is definitely a case of the gfx card running out of muscle. Do you have any of our other recent airport addons? I ask because TNCM does not require more "muscle/memory" then those. If for example Boston, Seattle and Vienna run okay without this problem, TNCM should be fine too.

I have a note about the old terminal in the PDF documentation. Basically I left it in because it is a pretty landmark of the airport that many people would miss if left out.

Why can't you not use the Posky 757?

You can remove the old terminal by going into the Addon Scenery/FlyTampa-Maarten/scenery folder and move/delete all files named

_maarten_oldterm*.bgl

But... what will be left is a dark spot on the ground. Making several versions of a sceneries this detailed and having each of them look good, is too much work. One would need several sets of ground textures and numerous other files that change.

You could really use a 256MB or 512MB Video-card. It looks like you are exhausting the current one.

Try reducing the mip map quality for now. It will use less vram.
Removing the old terminal won't help you get much over a 0.1 sec fps gain.
