looks great, marty. one question: when the new terminal is open and running, does anyone know if the old terminal will still stand or be knocked down? also, if it is, will this scenery be up-to-date with the construction?

The old terminal will stay, most of it anyway. The car parking behind it is getting redone. The 27 runway extension will be included in the scenery as well. I don't recall the source, somewhere I read something about 09 extension plans, if that means messing up Maho beach, that I will *not* include and *never* update in case they do it in real-life.

Are you sure the older terminal at SXM is going to stick around though? This shot that popped up just today seems to indicate otherwise...

The old terminal will stick around within our scenery thats for sure. So will Maho beach in case they mess that up too.

The new terminal itself is included tho, so is the 27 extension.

Sounds great, Martin! Thanks! Having flown through the venerable old terminal at SXM more times than I care to admit, it will definitely always hold a special place in my heart.

No, not 2 versions as far as that goes.

The layout of the scenery will be based on a sketch from the official airport website.... They tricked me

When you look at them they give the impression that the old terminal would remain intact for the most part, its where all the commuters are.

What they are really going to do there I don't know yet, perhaps build a new modern style building or just leave it as empty apron. Either way, I will keep the old terminal in the scenery because it is classic landmark that everyone who ever saw a TNCM photo associates with.
