Hi. Are you still supporting XP12 products, and/or will you address the VRAM performance issues with EHAM, that some users have raised in other posts on this forum?
Just read the post where you confirmed KLAS will not be updated for XP12.

XP12 Texture size + performance
Can the performance of XP12 EHAM be looked at, to give better performance? Maybe a lower res version? Looks like a large area of high res buildings and ortho, which give big FPS drops/lags when changing views/direction.
Cheers.
Cheers.

Re: FLYTAMPA AMSTERDAM XP12 TERRIBLE FPS
Same here. I get the FPS drops too, with a 3060Ti. I think it's a Vulkan thing, where the sim takes a while to load high res textures and downscale them a bit. What's your GPU and texture level? There's a lot of surrounding buildings too, that you can see from a fair distance away. Handling those pu...

Re: X-Plane 12 Poor performance
Same here. It looks like there's a lot of surrounding buildings as part of the package, so I guess these have high res textures too. That causes the drops in FPS, with so much going on.

Re: General FSX:SE/system specs
i7 - 4790. So, about 3.7 GHz?
Turned off Bloom and fps doubled. Toronto gives 18 fps, so just about acceptable. Thanks, George.
See if I can get a faster card, without losing my warranty.

Re: The (in)official FS9-begging-thread
+1 for Sydney and Toronto. What about a kickstarter/presale system, where we could pay in advance for FS9 versions? If enough of us put the money up, would that get things going? How many orders would that require? Aerosoft still do FS9 for most new Mega Airports, and all the UK2000's are FS9 ready....

General FSX:SE/system specs
Hi all, If this is the end of FS9 support, what's the best way to get more fps from FSX? What gets lost by turning scenery complexity down? Little reason for a detailed airport, only to have to lose it all for performance. What system upgrades would give a good performance increase? Currently on abo...
