No offense but if your FS9 looks better than your FSX, YOU have done something terribly wrong. Not at all. People forget that many P3D/FSX users still have FS9 and often use it for long haul flights.

Unfortunately for software to get better, hardware has to get better.......and that means upgrading your hardware. FS9 was great during it's prime and there were many great addons and sceneries that took it to the next level. If you want "realism of operation" in your sim, you need to mov...

OOMS and CTD's aren't personal opinions. There realities of those that use FSX and P3D.

And my wife's comment on how much better my fs9 looked compared to my FSX wasn't 'personal opinion'. A obvious observation.

Good luck with your VAS problems and OOM's with this one. I googled those terms because we fs9'ers dont get em so I dont know what they are.

Fs9 isn't dead. In fact many are returning to the best platform for flight simming. FSX is a joke and p3d is fast becoming one as well, going by the ongoing problems simmers are having.
