Re: Reversed windsock?
hi emilios, I'm running it in X-Plane 11 so I'm assuming SODE is not an option.

Reversed windsock?
Hi, While landing on 26L and correcting to the left for a good crosswind from 220, I noticed that the windsock for 26L was indicating an opposite wind. Interestingly on replay when I zoomed on the sock at the other end it indicated correctly. Here is a link to a video clip. https://clips.twitch.tv/M...

Re: Ortho4XP Integration Adjustment
The terrain properties are inside the .ter files. That's why I suggested replacing with yours (containing the original code and properties from ortho4xp. I don't really know why, having your .ter files, you cant see the lighting effects you talk about. The terrain problem in the shot is because the...

True. I know in Windows if I don't have SAM installed for a SAM using airport, the airport won't appear in the sim.

Re: PAPIs Missing on All Runways (LAS v1.1), and REIL Placement
This video coming in on the 19s shows the REIL placements in relation to threshold lights and the speed of flashes, again which is best modeled on your runway 8R but not so well on the other runways:

Curved Taxiway Centerline Light Colors and Runway Edge Light Fixtures
Hi guys, In case in an update you plan to increase airport lighting accuracy, then please consider making the taxiway leadoff lighting an alternating green and yellow. Currently they are green only (v1.1). I have linked a YouTube video if an actual landing at LAS that shows this: https://youtu.be/IT...

PAPIs Missing on All Runways (LAS v1.1), and REIL Placement
Hello, According to FAA and Jeppesen chart sources, all the runways at LAS have PAPIs on the left side of each runway. However as can be seen by the attached pictures, there are no PAPIs. Also, I noticed at night it was hard to see the REILS on most of the runways, except for runway 8R. I then notic...

Re: Ortho4XP Integration Adjustment
Hi Yannis, I wasn't sure what you meant in your response you said "with original lines inside". Anyway, I tried to do a swap of my .ter files with the ones included in the USA2 integration, but it failed to produce the lighting effects I had hoped. Can you please investigate further? It wo...

Ortho4XP Integration Adjustment
Hello FlyTampa developers, Thanks for getting the Ortho4XP Integration option going. Your swift action was greatly appreciated! Please consider updating the files in the FlyTampa_LasVegas_3_Mesh_o4xp_USA2 folder so the sun illuminates the terrain more properly. I made a video that demonstrates and d...

Re: Ortho4XP integration
Hi guys, I purchased directly through FlyTampa. Do I just rerun my universal installer that's still on my desktop, or do I have to d/l a new installer?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: Consider this Additional Option to FT's Orth4XP Conversion Tool?
Hi Yannis, since you're looking into how to solve this, I figured I'd point out and additional thing to consider in maybe the near future... I am assuming you probably follow the progression of Orbx True Earth (TE) for X-Plane? If they continue to develop the series of scenery packages, one might as...

Re: FT Ortho4XP Conversion Tool 1.14 = Odd Results?
ok i think i got it now ... i tested on lower altitute (UWXP on) and it was first not visible ... now i did some tests with perfect sight conditions (disabled UWXP haze) and >FL300 and there is indeed some "lazy" load observed ... but on my side its not that dramatic as on your video ... ...

Consider this Additional Option to FT's Orth4XP Conversion Tool?
Hi guys, From what I understand and have seen so far, even if the apparent issues of the FT Ortho4XP Conversion Tool 1.14 are resolved, the following limitations will still exist: 1. The tool does not support multiple zoom levels anywhere within the tile, which does not allow users to apply higher z...

Re: WOW this Place is Wild at Night!
Ahhhh... so as you might have noticed during my flying I rolled the aircraft all the way inverted. This X-Plane model was simulating that my attitude gyro had hit the limits, which caused erroneous readings. Thankfully we had VMC and plenty of lights for a horizon reference!
