Re: Waterholes final 26L/R

this should fix the water-holes. Las Vegas terrain sits at 664meters high, but P3D renders any water at 0 elevation, creating those nasty holes I ve excluded a large area going further out from our terrain coverage so hopefully you wont see any on approach. Drop file into 'P3D\FlyTampa\LasVegas\sce...

Waterholes final 26L/R

I've noticed several altitude issues with water surfaces when approaching 26L/R No ftx SOCAL installed, just ftx/global & vector, no addon Mesh, no elevation issues with the strip. Does someone have an idea how to flatten that area? Is this Flytampa related or ORBX stuff? It looks very odd. :( K...

Re: Crash on Touchdown

how definitive is the diffrence in quality between the low and the high texture settings? Best answer would be take some screenshots with the installed textures (2048) and then scale down the textures you want to with the given installer. Make screenshots again and compare them to the ones you had ...

Re: Toronto unflyable

hello Paul, unticking the three vectorentires in the lib and VAS amount decreases for about 0,9GB. Other parameters like LOD, autogen dense, tree dense and so on are setting very moderate. So I only can concluse that vector is the maineater. In vector itself I only unticked the third road section. ...

Re: Toronto unflyable

Kai-Uwe, i'm pretty sure its not just vector, because the NGX itself is less demanding than the 777. And with some optimizing its actually possible to achieve 1GB free VAS with the 777. You should also check your P3D LOD, autogen setup and FT config-manager. Most of the settings in vector are for VF...

Re: VAS

Graham, i did some testing with 777 and P3Dv2.4 yesterday: with the low-texture set you should have around 950mb VAS left but if you had choosen the badest possible weather condition in ASN (active sky next), your 750mb margin seems being ok. Btw. this conditions would eat FPS, too (2-4) If you have...
