Re: P3D v4 Installers
Guys, V4 installers aren't going to be a magical cure for all your p3d problems. It's just a program that copies files, not very sexy.
P3D4 compiled content isn't a path to heavenly bliss either.
However, LOWW & CYYZ have new updates in testing.
Boston V4 & Las Vegas are nearly complete & only have V4 versions planned.
Montreal & Athens will be updated after Boston is released.
More airports are planned but they won't be updated for the sake of just the pointless installer, they'll include new improved content/airport updates too.

George, great news! Very much looking forward to purchasing the new Boston and the brand new Las Vegas for P3Dv4 soon.
Will the updated LOWW, CYYZ, CYUL, and LGAV sceneries be further patches or will the updates be more substantial? If it is the latter, will there be an upgrade charge for these?
Somewhat OT, are there plans / is work already underway to make updates for Kai Tak and Dubai-Rebooted to make them play nicer in P3Dv4 or is the rest of the development team's focus consumed by Atlanta? To be fair, I'd personally be happy with KATL appearing first.

Re: P3D v4 Installers
George, thank you for the update. Please appreciate that until your comment, I (and perhaps others) wasn't aware of any of this. I assumed we were just waiting for installers for P3D v4 to allow for the addon.xml method of adding things. That's why there's 3 pages of comments on this now...
Look forward to the updates, be interested in hearing the plans for the older scenery too.
Many thanks

Re: P3D v4 Installers
Well finally we got a response lol
So basically new installers will not be showing up soon because many of these sceneries need serious updates. I guess I will install them with the old installers and patch them for v4.

Re: P3D v4 Installers
Thanks so much, George!
I speak for myself, and I think others felt the same way, but what everyone was really looking for was what the plan was for older scenery. You've provided it at long last! Really good news. LOWW was one of the ones I was looking at picking up, but was not going to buy it until it was v4 ready.

Just found this:alexplgr wrote:Any news about v4 installers;
That's good news even if it means it might take a little longer before all the old installers are updated. If those updates come with improvements, I don't mind.george[flytampa] wrote:Montreal & Athens will be updated after Boston is released.
