I guess you didn't look in the forum. You can clearly see that the last update to this scenery was in 2015.

Plus, what did you expect for a scenery that is still available for FS2004.

Oh, and by the way.... It is still the best scenery for Dubai that is available.

If you had cared to pay attention, it had been made clear. Dubai is one of FlyTampas oldest products available, reflecting the airport as it did back then with the technology available in those days.

It's not a con, it was top notch back in the days. However obviously you had false expectations and you didn't pay attention to the disclaimer. Now you're blaming FlyTampa for your own mistake.

Nowhere in the product description does it say that it is one of FlyTampa's oldest products or that it reflects an outdated version of the airport (the scenery is called rebooted, which sounds like it's up to date!).

It is a con...if FlyTampa are making the scenery available to the latest version of a sim (P3D5) then they should state that what is represented is five years old.

Just for your reference, this is what the product description says:

NO mention that it does not reflect the airport as it is now.

given that it mentions FSX should give you some clue. also if it was updated it would mention PBR, SODE and the new terminal that is built.

I think the OP's criticism is quite valid. As below, there is no indication how recent the scenery is. The term "Rebooted" is a bit misleading to say that it reflects the current layout.



Other scenery developers solve this problem by displaying what year and month the rendition of the airport reflects. I think FlyTampa should follow suit.
