BUMP in B & C taxi bridges over M1 motorway

Post by roymarsh77 » Thu Jul 15, 2021 5:34 am

There is an impassable bump (level difference) on taxiway B & C where is crosses the M1 motorway. The bridges are several meters higher than the adjacent taxiway.

Have you removed the Asobo Sydney scenery from the content lib? Presuming you are using MSFS.

No I haven't..........is there a trick to doing that? Just through the content manager? Will give it a go if that's all you have to do.

The trees only appear if you run in offline mode. I don't think we can fix it our end.
You'll have to enable the bingmaps streaming stuff they have in the MSFS options. THey should be ON by default.

I think there is problems with the online streaming servers tonight but double check you have turned on Online functionality, Bing Data World graphics and Photogrammetry..

Hello Gang.

I don't have the trees issue however, the bump has been there since DAY 1. I've reported it and it's still not fixed. I have also observed the jetways disappearing post SU5. I have also observed some elevation anomalies in various parts of the airport, especially taxiway A off of A3 intersection. The bump is on Taxiway B, around B7/B8 area. I have removed the original Asobo YSSY. These things need to be fixed please.

Thanks

Dennis

I can't find anything wrong in those B areas. Is it something visual you can post a shot of? The grass areas do have some intentional elevations changes.

Maybe you need to change your mesh settings?

Hello!

Thanks for your response. My mesh settings are at max.

Here are some images. Image #1 shows the bump. Image #2 shows an MFD image depicting the location of the bump in the airport. Image #3 shows anothe smaller bump area and also an area that sometimes shows issues with terrain.

Hope these help!

The first shot looks normal. That area is on the technical edge of either having visual problems or falling through the bridge. Second shot, I can't see anything. Third shot I can fix in a later patch.

Have you replaced the tree textures? They look off.

Second shot was more of a reference of the location. I agree that the first shot things are workable. The third shot is the area where most people complain that contains the big bump. Thanks for the help!!!
