Re: AFCAD update
Maybe this has been addressed elsewhere, but the ILS for runway 26L is incorrect in the *_xwind.bgl and *_xwind_0108.bgl files; showing as a frequency of 111.75. The *_xwind_1926.bgl file shows the correct frequency of 111.50. Just figured this out today when I couldn't receive an ILS signal on appr...

Re: FTX users
--------- Update: issiue solved, it seems for some reason the ADE_FTX_SCA_KLAS_elevation_adjusment.bgl in the \Scenery\World\Scenery folder has been reneabled. After i set it to .off again everything looks fine :) You'll have to do that everytime you run FTX Central. Kind of a pain. I have four fil...

Re: Poor Performance
I was only using the default R22 to do some exploring today and overall I was happy with the performance, although I will definitely turn some settings down for when I visit in something more substantial, such as the NGX - I've experienced similar issues elsewhere so it's nothing new - for instance ...

ORBX Compatibility - Vector Roadways
ORBX Vector roadways are missing around the edges of the photoscenery. I understand this is due to the "crossing selection" nature of how the excludes work; in other words a given roadway will have a gap from the photoscenery edge up until the next vector segment which is entirely outside ...

"Floating Roof" Buildings
While terrorizing the greater Las Vegas area with my exceptional R22 piloting skills today, I found some strange buildings that may need to be looked at - basically they consist of what mostly look like "floating roofs", some are very large overhanging roofs on top of small buildings. (If ...

Re: Waterholes final 26L/R
On a similar note, I've also encountered some water "hills". Not sure how widespread these are, but here is a sample of some at N36-6.02', W115-16.03'; or approx. the intersection of Tropicana and Durango on the street map - I can confirm that disabling "z_terrain_lasvegas_mesh.bgl&qu...

Re: FTX users
Just went through the same process (as I had fully expected to be necessary) and I can independently confirm that Vincent's procedure is the way to go!

Little Purple Box
I recently purchased FT Dubai and today I spent a little time exploring and failing miserably at trying out some of the rooftop helipads. Anyway, right after landing on top of what I believe is called the "Creek Tower", I noticed this curious little purple box above one of the wings of the...

Re: Autogen Issues after FTX_OLC install. A solution
As a follow up, the autogen "fix" above was somehow undone last night when I ran ORBX FTX Central last night. Not sure if it was just the act of running it or that I also installed a couple new airports I had purchased. In any event, I repeated the fix and it again has seemed to work and h...

Re: Autogen Issues after FTX_OLC install. A solution
I was having some trouble with this particular method of fix, but got it all working a slightly different way: Add the lines in the following post under the 'H' section (<CODE>H</CODE>), instead of the 'R' section. http://www.flytampa.org/forum/viewtopic.php?p=53069#p53069 For me this seems to actua...

Saba ICAO code
Is there any possibility that a fix could be made whereby Saba's Juancho Yrausquin Airport could be given its real-life TNCS code as opposed to "SABA"?
I'm guessing it's probably a needlessly complicated process but I figured I would ask anyway...

Re: missing cruise ships, dx10 fps
Agreed on the cruise ships; what bothers me more is that the cruise port in Philipsburg has been removed. (It's really there, I was just there a month ago; had to drive by it at least 2x a day to and from the rental house!) On a related note, I've found I have to disable the static boats as they see...

Re: Missing Runway and Taxiway Markings
Another thing I might add is that when the taxiway markings are visible and active, my FPS drops from 25-30 (I have it capped at 30) down to 7.5-10. I have isolated it to that; it's not the autogen, active libraries or anything like that. Not sure there's anything to do with that; I get the same on ...
