PMDG & FlyMidway

Post by Nick Bartolotta » Sun Aug 14, 2005 10:57 pm

I'm sure this has been addressed somewhere...but after a quick search of the Forums I didn't come up with any answer...

I've got FlyMidway scenery installed on my Dell Dimension 3000. 2.8Ghz processor, 512MB memory and a eVGA GeForce™ FX 5200 video card.

I also use my PMDG 737NG quite a bit for ATA and SWA flights in-and-out of Midway.

However, I notice my frame rates really deteriorate when I fly around Midway. I am sure this is because of the heavy textures/details from my PMDG aircraft and my scenery...but I'm wondering if there is a way to get more FPS without taking away from my graphics?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, and I apoligize in advance if this has already been addressed.

The PMDG 737 uses a lot of textures. You could try the Midway texture downgrade, if it doesn't help re-install the normal version to get the high resolution textures back at Midway.
