A few questions
Im starting to install AI packages from Project AI and have a few questions regarding where the planes park. So far I have only installed teh Southwest package. I went to KSAN to check it out, but they park all over the airport. How do I change it so all Southwest planes park at Terminal 1? Also, can I remove the static aircraft?

If you are using FS2004 the aircraft should be parking where they belong. If you are using FS2002 on the other hand there the only way to get this done is a lot of work.
To get rid of the static aircraft re-install the scenery into the same folder/location with the option for static unchecked during install. Just deleting the bgl files containing the static aircraft will not give you the full Afcad2 parking sports.
2nd, make sure the correct Afcad2 is in use, this is also where you would edit parking codes for each gate but like I said, the Afcads supplied with FlyTampa sceneries already have that coded in them.
