Hey guys, I have recently purchased the Fly Tampa Midway scenery. I LOVE it, great scenery. I was wondering though about the afcad. I use UT and the traffic doesn't appear in the A gates. The only aircraft are in the B and C gates. Any answers, or is this just the scenery. Thanks

Is there no traffic in the A gates or just no ATA traffic in the A gates? Some Southwest planes do go over there and I'm using UT also. But, I have no ATA traffic anywhere and, yes, I have the ATA updated for UT. I've brought this up before and no one seems to know why.

It can be one two things.
If you monitor AI traffic, do you ever see any ATA aircraft landing overtime? If not you'd have to dig into your AI flightplans and see if ATA is really there and if there are schedules for MDW.
If ATA does land at MDW occasionaly but doesn't park at the right spot or vanishes right on the runway then you'd have to check the AI aircraft code (it should be "ATA").

There is just no traffic at the A gates. I have a few ATA aircraft landing, they go over to the B and C gates. But, for the a gates I haven't seen an aircraft there yet.

The ATA ICAO Code is AMT. But because many aircraft.cfg files list it as ATA, we included both ATA & AMT for the MDW gates.
UT is probably at fault here. That'll teach you to use junk

Get over to Aardvark & install some real models.

That definitely sounds like your ATA AI aircraft are neither using ATA or AMT as their code.

specialist: Are there any ATA AI planes at Midway at all?
Like I said...
If yes there are ATA AIs but not parking where they should its a AI code matter. If you do have them, and they are AMT coded you could try editing the Afcad2 and remove the ATA code leaving just AMT for the A gates, maybe that does the trick (?)
If no there are no ATA AIs at all at Midway, but your AI package claims to have them then it could be a matter of missing KMDW schedules perhaps.
