Can any one with Ultimate terrain confirm these sunken lakes at the default KSEA?

You all sound like me! I've submitted several shots to Ultimate Terrain letting them know about little problem with their terrain next to our wonderful looking FlyTampa airports. Just a few minutes ago I also posted screen shots of Tampa, San Diego and San Francisco on the Tampa forum board. This time I was asking about Tampa's grass texture, but that discussion I'll leave there.

Hello,

I have purchased UT USA, and I'm running FS Global 20054... I do not have that issue, though I do see a road runnning through both runways.
Can't wait for SEA. Hope all is well, if there is anything else I can look at let me know... I'll be on later tonight...

I have UT:USA installed and do not have this sunken lake. The flatten for KSEA on my system keeps the lake at airfield elevation, but then drops off sharply just past it.

To be complete: here are my specs. Maybe some of these settings are affecting the display?

UT:USA
-Major roads only
-All water and streams
-All night lights
-No landclass but added detailed land areas

I also am using the FSG LOD10 mesh of the west coast.

UT are working on a fix. Just got to be patient and they will come through. I like their products and they haven't disappointed me yet, just like FlyTampa, great customer service. :)

Hey George... One way you could prevent the problem is to draw your own pretty lake to replace the grainy USGS satellite lake... :)

George-

what mesh/terrain settings were you running when you took your shot? I was thinking about it further and think that possibly the difference between yours and my picture is a result of me using FSG mesh and perhaps yours was taken with default mesh?

And lastly, (pardon my scenery design inexperience...) can't you just flatten out these lakes in the FlyTampa KSEA using an A16N flatten? You're probably flattening the entire airfield anyways... so why not just include this lake in that flatten?

George is busy working :( so let me give you an update on this.

We spent quite a bit of time over the past months getting the areas around KSEA to look correct by doing tons of mesh and "flattening" work.

Its a little hard to show these elevation changes in still screenshot but they are there. The airport's south and north ends are basically elevated and the terrain around it adjusted accordingly. These shots are without UT and a little dark because I made them at Dawn which usually gives the best shading to the terrain to show elevation changes.

The only thing messing it up is UT, it works fine with the Mega Scenery and from what I know also with FSGenesis. So we are now waiting for a response from UT and at the same time looking to see if its possible to fix this issue ourselves.

PS: Compromising the whole thing with a "wide flatten" just because another Addon is messing it up is not an option, it was way too much work getting it like this in first place. If it can't be fixed I will ask George to release it as it is, since the fault with this issue clearly lies with UT.
