Future airport project ideas
Seems like Fly Tampa is into modeling airports with warm climates. Might I suggest a few other "destination" type airports. Key West, Florida (KEYW) , Palm Springs, California (KPSP), and St. Maarten Is. (TNCM), or vacation spots like Aspen, Colorado (KASE) or South Lake Tahoe, California (KTVL).
Why?
Small enough where development time is not a huge undertaking.
Smaller projects where you can continue to add unique detail and flavor but large enough to have a wide appeal.
Already enough of large airports seem to be coming out.
Interesting looking terminals around beautiful scenery settings.
Some have tricky-fun approaches
just my suggestions... it's all good.

Southwest Hubs
I like the idea of Southwest hubs that have never been done like:
1) Baltimore/Washington
2) Chicago Midway (also ATA's hub)
3) Nashville
4) Houston/Hobby and
5) Oakland

Hi guys,
I guess TNCM would not be a great scenery to do, since the default one is very atractive already, not many details to add I guess.
If Martin wants mid-size airports I'd suggest:
-KMDW (Midway)
-KBNA (Nashville)
-KJAX (Jacksonville)
-KSTL (St.Louis Lambert)
-KSAN (San Antonio Int'l)
But would be great big airports too:
-KBWI (Baltimore-Washington)
-KDTW (Detroit-Metro)
-KPDX (Portland Int'l)
-KMCI (Kansas City Int'l)
-KOAK (Oakland Int'l)
Thats my list,
Best,
Mauro Perez.

What are you aiming at....
@Martin:
From what you mentioned there OAK and MDW are 2 I have been looking at.
Well, I would lile to ask you a general question. It looks like you are focosing local U.S. airports in future only like KSAN (which is done) and now OAK or MDW. Does that mean that you are only like to design for the U.S. demostic market only or will you do something for the international market also?
I am asking this because I am a bit disappointed of your choices to do U.S. Municipal airports which are totally uninteresting for europeans
I hope you still like to do some bigger airports in the U.S like KSFO or KLAX or smaller ones which could be in common interest like MKJS or TNCM.

Bodo: I understand what you're saying, but it depends on how you use / what you do with your Flight Simulator. You could even argue that Tampa and San Diego are uninteresting for europeans since there is no european airliners there (other than a weely BA maybe). But if I boil it down to big international US Hubs like Miami we'll soon be "fighting" over 10 or 20 airports, most of which have been done multiple times by you know who. Of course a new version of KATL, KJFK, KLAX and KORD is always welcome by some, but I agree with the majority of people I spoke to who thinks its time to also invest some attention elsewhere. I'm generally not against working on something that has been done, but at the moment I'm choosing the next projects based on other factors (see above post). All this might of course change again overtime.
