KBUF scenery problem
Hey Tampa,
I am running FSX with SP2 on WIN 7.
I just installed KBUF and i am having some strange issues with what seems to be default scenery
blending with your scenery? And some strange elevation behavior as well.
I did try to add the scenery manually in FSX scenery library, but to no help.
And I tried reinstalling and reboot... the usual stuff:-)
Nothing helps.
I do have FTX global and FTX vector installed aswell. Might that be an issue??
Yours,
Lars
PS: I bought your Montreal addon and i am having no problems whatsoever. Looks beautiful!

Re: KBUF scenery problem
Move Buffalo to the top of the scenery library & check for duplicate afcads. ALso, have you ever installed another buffalo scenery you might have forgotten to disable?

Re: KBUF scenery problem
Hi George,
Thanks a lot for your prompt respones!
This is my first Buffalo addon ever:)
And I have the scenery on top in my scenery library.
So it might just be FTX global causing the problem?
Unfortunately I'm not an FSX expert, so I'm not sure how to chek the afcads.

Re: KBUF scenery problem
I just researched the problem & think I have a solutions for you. The problem is caused by FS Vector but it can be fixed. Load the FTX Global Vector Configuration Tool. Go to the Airport Elevation Corrections. Find KBUF & hit the Disable button followed by the apply button.
The panel looks like this..

Hey George and Lars
I had the exact same problem as I re-installed KBUF (Great scenery by the way George)!! And yes, it worked here as well.

Re: KBUF scenery problem
George,
I have installed Buffalo and think its great. I fly in and out of there a lot because I use it as a base of operations in Air Hauler. When wind conditions are out of the northeast and I have to use runway 5, if I am a little low on the glide path there is an invisible building/wall/tree/ something that I crash into. I have FTX Global installed but not the vectors.
Like Sadenbauer I am not an FSX program wiz and do not know what the afcads are or where they might be located.
Currently I am using Buffalo, Boston, and Tampa and think they are all great.

Re: KBUF scenery problem
Hey Gary. Thanks.
Could you show me with a screenshot exactly where the crash happened?
