Chicago Midway2 FS9 I'm disappointed!!

I am disappointed with The midway upgrade for FS9. I was very happy with Tampa Rebooted and was hoping for a more dramatic upgrade for Midway. But I see little to no difference then the first Midway scenery. Sure I see some parked cars but they only pop in when I am on top of them. Before I purchased I saw the screen shots. I saw purple/blue and yellow ground handling svc equipment for Southwest. I saw none when I installed scenery. I saw nice photo scenery of parking lots and a train area. All I see from my scenery is the cars and trains on top of blurrs. No not happy. I was fine with version 1. The only upgrade I got was a lighter wallet.....Sorry... I have loved all the past sceneries and have them all...........but this was a waiste of money......

I guess you didn't read the page carefully. The FSX version is V2, the FS9 version remains V1. Thats why you see no difference in FS9. The new features are only available in FSX.

The label "Rebooted" was not added to Midway on purpose, because it is just an FSX update.

Thanks Martin I will try and email you the info. As I said I have all your scenery for FS9. When I saw the Midway V2 advertised in SimMarket I assumed it would be for FS9 as well. I just went back to look at the page a moment ago and your right the small print does say FS9 v1. Unfortunately for me it was small print and I got lost with the Big Pictures and how much nicer it looked. I appreciate you trying to do some thing for me. $28.48 is still alot of money for nothing. I suggest in the future that the adds use bigger print to make us understand its for FSX only. On another note....why is it for FSX only? Looks like a simple upgrade that could of been done for FS9. Also why was not Grenadines done in an FS9 version? I hope all your future sceneries like (FSDT or Aerosoft and others) will include both versions for FS9 and FSX. I would hate to miss out on your artistry becasue I do not love FSX. Lastly is it possible to may be send us loyal customers a scenery patch that maybe we can use with EZ-scenery that can add the static purple/blue and yellow bag carts around Midway V1. Thanks for your help and your great work. I remain a loyal customer.......................

This is a classic case of pressing purchase without fully reading/understanding what you are buying. The lesson learned hopefully for everyone here is that you need to carefully read everything before you buy something. It is not the developers or distributors responsibility to pay for your mistakes. I just say this because I've done it myself, but I paid for my mistake.

It happens. I was just as embarrassed. I was just sooo excited that I thought "I know everything I need to know so let's get this download going" LOL!!!!

Thats why i read through it carefully, maybe read it twice, than go look at videos of it on youtube, look up reviews, then i buy the scenery. I dont spend my money if its not good or if it doesnt support wonderful AES (Aerosoft's Airport enhancement services.) I have almost every scenery from Flytampa: KSEA KMDW KSAN KSFO (switched to Flight beam but might switch back for performance wise) KTPA VHHX KBUF KBOS V3 and OMDB. Thats alot. I also have now purchased all of them. Before im not happy what i did a few years ago but now that i got a job, it was easy for me. I already have Chicago Midway and i didnt even know there was a strobe light update for FS9 until today. Il get around to installing that when i am in the chicago area...
