Tampa Rebooted Sunshine Skyway Bridge

Post by CAPTRJG51 » Tue Feb 22, 2011 5:02 pm

Fly Tampa Rebooted is a great addon. I work near KTPA and everything is right on the money. Now my question. When I fly near the Sunshine Skyway bridge (using FS9) during the day, the bridge is completely missing. At night, there are some roadway lighs underwater.
Previously I had the legacy Fly Tampa, which I uninstalled then reinstalled Rebooted and the update for the runway numbers. Still, the Sunshine Skyway bridge is missing. This is a great part of the scenery and of Tampa Bay.
What am I doing wrong or missing.
Attached are screenshots during the day and night.

Thanks,
Rich in TPA

The lights at night aren't from our bridge/textures. Check that you have the file:
Addon Scenery/FlyTampa-Tampa/bridge_skyway.bgl

Then there is the possibility of some other Addons for the region excluding it. Something is odd either way, because if you get night "road textures" on the water, I wonder where that road is in daytime.

Martin,

The bridge_skyway.bgl is in the scenery folder. In the daytime the bridge just isn't there. Nothing! That's why the night time lights underwater was confusing. I've seen the photos of the SSB on the internet and love how it looks.
Other addon software is Ultimate Traffic, Fly Tampa Miami and a freeware for Orlando Int'l.
Should I completely uninstall Fly Tampa Rebooted and try another install?

Thanks

Do you have your scenery sliders in FSX set correctly?

Do you have Ultimate Terrain?

Thanks for the replies. I do not have Ultimate Terrain and I'm using FS9, not FSX. I'll try the scenery sliders to see if that corrects the problem.
I'm from the Tampa area and it's a beautiful bridge.
