The coverage of Hong Kong

Post by Dundee » Thu Aug 07, 2008 1:23 pm

Dear FlyTampa Staff,

Is it possible that the coverage of Hong Kong and extend from Hong Kong Island, Kowloon to all regions in Hong Kong during the next update version?

If it is worked, I think that the pilots will have an excellent experience.

Regards,

See Martin, this is what happens when you go from making just the airport to making entire cities.

It's never enough. You give an inch and they want a mile. This is why I wouldn't recreate any previously made airports. When you remake one you'll be hounded into remaking them all.

How about just one? It would be nice for Flytampa to have a current standards Tampa Intl wouldn't it?

I think that extend the coverage of Hong Kong is easier than making a great simulated airport, isn't that?

But it isn't needed, they should work on making a convincing environment for final approach, so they don't need to make all of Hong Kong region.

Well, I do feel hesitant to ask, considering the quality of the entire scenery. However, I do miss the swimming restaurants and houseboats at Aberdeen. They were part of the old Hong Kong 2004 scenery and always fun to zoom around.

It is not a problem if you only make an airport, I will not request the coverage.

Like FlyTampa, he makes the airport and few coverage, so I just have a suggestion to extend the coverage...

Honestly though, extending the coverage area isn't hard for you to do. It just takes a little studying of the sdk or use a program like Photo Scenery Maker which requires even less studying.

The entire final approach experience is already in ! It starts at CLK. No need for anything else.

OK, in fact I know that someone made the photoreal scenery of Hong Kong - Project Visual Hong Kong (flightsim.com pvhk11.zip).

It can compatible with FlyTampa if u put the PVHK at lower layer, the disadvantage of this scenery is nothing can see at night, so does anyone have interesting to modify this photoreal scenery.

You need to deactivate the FlyTampa Kai Tak LC and the PVHK hkmesh folder.
