the approach to runway 13 needs update the aircraft landing are not going on top of the approach lights they are going far south and when they turn to align to rwy13 they are ALMOST still doing it over the threshold, so what i think is that the approach points are not where they are suppose to be! in the approach lights or at least close to them!!! if you check the 9dragons approach its perfect! but I LOVE THIS SCENERY dont get me wrong

Loquito4Fly: The approach lights and points are all exactly spot on. It's the AI that can't fly the turn properly.
Some AI fly it better than others. That's the beauty of it, you never know how they will go - just like in real life! Non-perfect AI is a good!

Loquito4Fly: You mean the way that AI flies the curve right?
The code that makes this happen has been written by Jim Vile, who also wrote the 9Dragons approach code and probably every KaiTak approach in existance.
Elsewhere Jim stated that the new code we are using is better/more realistic then then his older code.
That not all AI planes fly the a picture perfect approach curve exactly over the Lead-in lights is know... However this has always been the case afaik and imo makes watching AI more interesting.

i downloaded a new afcad here that contains new NAVAIDS and the traffic is following the approach much better, like the ones i used to see when i installed 9DRAGONS scenery!!! i totally love this scenery!!!! THANKS EVERYBODY who contributed to it!!!!

I placed a FS9 AFCAD in the following post but it is identical to the FS9 no-static AFCAD that installs. The user was having probelms and thought his AFCAD was corrupt.
AFCAD has nothing to do with the AI Plane and how it fly's the approach. Changing a AFCAD does nothing to tweak AI Planes. User Planes fly the AFCAD LDA approach (Localizer, GS, DME) and AI planes fly the approach code I write. You can actually remove the AFCAD and AI planes will still fly what I write as long as a runway texture exist (which is does in the default database).
