Maybe you can be of help regarding this repaint

Post by M.D.Miron » Wed Oct 31, 2007 11:39 am

Please find below screenie of Fernando Martinez Fokker F70. The aircraft is of a white shining odd color, all of it. Checked with DXTBMP, textured Dxt3 without mips. But still, strange apparition and ugly.

 :x

Can it be repaired?

Looks like they forgot to add an alpha channel.

Indeed...

Miron, check the texture file with DXTBMP.
The small window on the right side in DXTBMP is the alpha channel.
It will probably be completely black.

Click on the small icon with an arrow below the alpha channel to send it to your paint-software and make it all white.
Resaving the file with a white alphachannel should solve your problem.

S.
