1. The SDK for FSX is terrible
2. The dusk dawn rendering issues are still not fixed(even with sp1)
3. FSX runs like crap(even with sp1)
4. I don't use or like FSX

Short answer? No.
Long Answer? Kindly ask George on how to do absolutely detaily-outrageous sceneries.

George, how do you make such absolutely detaily-outrageous sceneries? How many souls did you have to pay to the devil for such skills?

I think theres only been about 6-8 people ask me for a FSX version sofar.
Thats very low demand considering about 50 people begged for the runway update now in Version2.1

You might not realize, developing scenery for FSX is hard tedious work.
To fix Boston for FSX I would have to slowly replace all the materials (1000s of them) with slower FSX shaders. All so they render correctly at dusk dawn.
Theres also problems remaining with ground polygons clipping with the underlaying ground. This has been fixed somewhat(SP1) but serious errors turn up in certain areas. FSX is a horrible mess for scenery designers. Unless you like flying over phototerrain, it really has very little to offer.

Ultimately, I'm not willing to do 50-100 hours work on Boston for a platform I don't wish to fly in. Maybe in another 12 months I'll look at it again if Microsfot release more patches or future hardware advances can use brute force to overcome the inefficient code abundant in FSX

If it were me...it wouldn't be freeware this time either.

Most major developers have had sp1 for awhile. Based on what I'm hearing, I'm not getting my hopes up. :?

George, that's a terrible goddamn news on SP1, I hoped for a significant performance improvement but I guess not huh? Wtf?!?!?

I got the FSX for Christmas, didn't even take it out of the box yet (LOL!) and I was hoping that after SP1 and upcoming PC upgrade for me, I'd finally switch over. What a shame.

There is a significant performance improvement, but its just not enough for flying heavies city to city.
