i guess you could say this is a continuation of my crash to desktop problem in the seattle forum (sorry for clogging the forums!

)
but anyway, im trying to remove flytampa st. marteen because that was the last thing installed before my fs got screwed up, and every time I disable it from the scenery library it keeps popping up again with a new registry. Is there a file that installed itself that regenerates the entry in the .cfg when its not there that installed when I checked off add scenery to the .cfg?
i tried uninstalling and reinstalling st. marteen w/out checking add to scenery.cfg but that didnt work. so does anyone have any advice?
thanks

Are you running Vista? If you mean that disabling or removing the scenery entry in FS, it always comes back after a restart that sounds like the scenery.cfg file isn't being written properly. Either the file is write protected or not accessed because of some of the new Vista User Protection stuff.

im running windowsXP media center edition do you think that could have anything to do with it?
i tried deleting the entries through fs but it re-added itself. I'll try manually editing the .cfg
