TNCM Windsock

Post by altstiff » Mon Apr 16, 2007 12:41 pm

Just noticed the windsock near RW 09.

Mine seems stuck at 135 even in 300/36 winds.

Any shot we can get a working windsock?

Are you changing the winds "in-game" after loading the flight? From what I know the windosock does not update in real-time, but it should load with the correct rotation when you first load a flight, or if you are already in-game, you would need to make a scenery refresh via keystroke or leave the scenery area and come back for it to update.

I will check it again in a bit.

No I am not, I load ASV6 and then load FS, then my flight. Still stuck at 135.

Thanks for the quick reply's Martin :D

It is hard for me to double check right now as the real world winds are 140/11

The windsock rotation seems to be based on the wind direction you first start FS with. Scenery refresh doesn't seem to do the job. I will check at Vienna and other places to see if it behaves differently.
