Post by harpsi » Sun Apr 15, 2007 2:12 pm

hi

anyone has the solution to mix both sceneries? ths island looks quite good by france vfr and the sceneries from fly tampa look excellent, so maybe a good mixture would have a good result :)

I'm 200% satisfied with the Fly Tampa! version. 8)

(And as an owner of other France VFR products, I'm quite confident in saying this)

Hi

The question is just about the island. Not about airports. Did fly tampa touch in the rest of the island or just airports only?

I don't see how you can possibly have both sceneries together since both modify the airport and island....

Hi

if it can be figures out between west indies from flight 1, it can for sure be figured out with france vfr as well. Someone posted today the solution for west indies...

Depends on what version you got. See the product order pages.

- "Complete" modifies the whole island of Maarten + the other 2 islands with mesh, Photoscenery, Autogen, coastline fixes & some inland water shading. There maybe ways of mixing certain elements by changes some files, but this is more of a "one or the other" package since both sceneries contain the same elements from what I can tell (Photoscenery, Autogen, Mesh, coastlines ...)

- TNCM standalone does not touch the the island and would be the suited option if you wish to use FranceVFR's Maarten at the same time.

Imagine what is going to happen when you combine these two.

This combination is the reason for most of the mesh and AI issues right now.

Dan,
That's a great shot and it shows exactly why I chose the Fly Tampa! package over France VFRs.... :D

And you may want to keep the TFFG airport from the FranceVFR version. One guy in a french forum explains the how-to in the middle of this post : http://www.francesim.info/forumFS/defau ... sts&t=9595

Thanks for the link Vincent. For those who have purchased both sceneries it is certainly wise to keep TFFG.

Thanks Vincent,
As I don't speak French could you confirm if the text says "keeep" those listed files and delete others, or delete those files and keep the others?
Cheers,
