World Update V CTD EKCH

Hi Team,

Last night I downloaded World Update V for MSFS. I get a CTD every time I load flytampa EKCH that I purchased through the marketplace. I uninstalled flytampa and reloaded msfs with the default scenery and there was no crash. I then reinstalled the flytampa scenery through content manager again to see if it would overwrite the default but to no avail. It crashes to desktop again. Any ideas on how I can fix this?

Im giving my question a bump. I had to uninstall copenhagen in the content manager to prevent a CTD. Can flytampa provide me with some guidance.

Same. Just bought it and it CTDs.

FlyTampa should probably permanently fix this in their installers.

So I uninstalled malmo Orbx scenery which is the only addon that I have in the region to see if there was a local scenery nearby that could be causing CTD. Works out Copenhagen now works (coincidence?!?!) but it’s a complete mess. Double taxiway signs everywhere, missing taxiway textures etc… clearly not compatible. I draw this conclusion because I have MSFS as a vanilla product with no other add ons in that region. Tbh I don’t want to be mucking around with renaming folders and adding additional lines in a config file for a product I paid for and now doesn’t work. I’m concerned it could have manifest into more MSFS issues. Shame the customer service here is getting rather poor. I’d rather flytampa say “we are looking into it” instead of being completely ignored. :( not happy

Possible reasons/solutions for CTD

-FlyTampa -Copenhagen product not updated through marketplace
-FlyTampa- Vegas (if available) not updated through marketplace
-Uninstall both Copenhagen and Vegas (if owned) and re-install through Marketplace

* An update for Copenhagen is underway with the marketplace team, which should help resolve CTDs after latest world update.
