Any AFB or NAS?

Post by albix » Fri Feb 03, 2006 2:45 am

Hello all. I wonder if Flytampa guys have ever thought about a military airport. It would be nice to have a nest where to fly F-15s or the great
C-130... I know there are some companies that published already some AFB and NAS but nothing compared to the great quality of Flytampa. I would suggest, if possible, Pensacola NAS (homebase fo the Blue Angels) or Pax River (Naval Test Pilot School) a great place where to test the new aircraft, Nellis AFB or Miramar (Top Gun...). I hope to see one of them published by Flytampa soon and in the meantime i keep my AB ready! :D

The problem with doing military fields is the ability to get the photographs of the installations. With security the way it is these days...

Yes skydvdan, I understand and I agree with you but I think that with Google Earth is possible to get a reliable layout and then put buildings and hangars where they are located. Even if they are generic or fantasy buildings, not 100% looking the same, they will be anyway much better than the ugly FS9 default... Look the attached pics.

I understand what you're asking but FlyTampa isn't in the business of doing generic buildings.

Edit: My Tucson scenery will kind of get you what you're asking for.
