Hello Martin...I asked you a question regarding runway usage at KMDW and being able to use 22L....you explained it was closed in the Fly Tampa Mdwy scenery because of unexplained "planes jumping" on the runway and taxiways leading to 22L...I adjusted the AFCAD file to open 22L...4R..31C..13C....closing all other runways...this didn't work...ATC was still assigning passenger jets to land on 31L..31R...etc....and I would purposely adjust the weather settings to make the wind coming from 220 degrees and still..ATC was assigning 13C for take-offs and landings...who knows...but...I was flying into Midway the other day..and had loaded the real world weather in Flight Sim....winds at Midway were out of the southwest...I was preparing to land on 13C..when ATC advised me to "expect a visual for 22L"..!!....I asked to use the 31C approach and was "cleared to the 31C approach...circle to land on 22L"!!!...where did this come from?? ..needless to say I was very happy with the instructions...although I ended up making too wide of turn and was lined up with Interstate 55...which is a few miles north of Midway...but I didn't care...I was assigned 22L!!...can't explain it though...maybe because I opened 22L in AFCAD?....now if ATC would just quit assigning a 757 to land on 31L!!....
