CTD

Post by bobbysweatpants » Wed Jun 13, 2018 3:42 pm

Hi, I just installed the P3Dv4 airports. Versions 1.9 1.9 and 1.8 I believe. Installation went well and everything looks correct however I am experiencing CTD's almost immediately upon loading any of these sceneries. Does anyone have a solution? Am I in the right spot for support?

Thanks,
Eric

I am trying to disable animated AI Ships in the Configurator and it also crashes every time. Here's the details;

See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

Ok, so running the configuator with admin rights fixed that problem. I have narrowed the P3D CTD's down to some AI ships in the area.

I too am having this issue. Martin was so gracious to send me all the new installers for my products I own so I decided to do a re-install of my FT stuff. Now everything is re-installed and I am going to all the airports to ensure they are all good. Immediately upon loading into TNCM it CTD.

I have tried this from both selecting TNCM from airport list after entering P3D and then tried doing it from another airport and selecting TNCM. Both times CTD, never even loaded into the actual aircraft, it get's to 100% and says "finished loading" then boom CTD. Did this once with Aerosoft A319 and the second time with default F-22, same result both times.

P3Dv 4.3

So after some testing I too traced my back to what appears to be some type of Ai Ships in the area causing issues. Once I turned my shipping traffic off all three sceneries work as advertised. The moment I turn my shipping traffic back on boom, CTD. So for now I am happy, I don't need ships anyway when flying over land :)
