I agree. I don't use FS9 anymore and am onto P3D v3 but to those that do still use FS9 and are asking - 8 pages in - deserve some sort of response from you George, one way or the other.

Hey there. Yes Fs9 is not dead. I prefer FS9 still even i have a high end specs. Maybe can move to x-plane later but not fsx or prepar3d. Anyway Yes the team can make light (not so light of course) version of the new sceneries. Hope so anyway :)

I've not had a chance to look at it yet guys but it's growing increasingly unlikely. I doubt FS9's mesh resolution is good enough support all the 3D coastal walls, rivers & tunnels.
It would be brutal for me to try & hack all that into a watered down low quality FS9 version.

I'd rather focus on P3D V3 which recently provided a much needed boost in performance & features. Well worth the upgrade.

Sorry it took so long to reply. I just didn't know.

To me "it doesn't wash and neither doth it rinse" George.

Very disappointing indeed! :|

Luckily ImagineSim, Drzewiecki and Tropicalsim are still providing wonderful airports for this sim!

Even if the quality is not as good I'm sure it will be more than enough for us regarding to your others airports on FS9 !!

Despite the statement of George I think we can agree that we have proven a point here nonetheless. This thread has now more than 6500 views and FS9 users kept posting in this thread continuously over a time span of more than 5 months. This thread is a good proof, that there still is a market for FS9. Though FlyTampa YSSY Lite is likely not happening for FS9, I am glad that the reaction of fellow FS9ers has been this large. It was well worth a try, guys!

As for me, I am not going to upgrade to P3d V3.

how come? I made the change from FS9 to P3D using the exact same hardware I had with FS9 with fantastic results using 100% custom AI, etc....I think you would be pleasantly surprised by the performance.
