thanks for offering. Although we already have received lots of help, more is always better.
Any image material from the apron-side would be very useful; one needs to have access to reach those areas though.

And that's the biggest issue at Schiphol as you may know :P Security is needed but just to take photo's for a project like this is very hard!

This wonderful project could be even better with SODE Jetways as there are many heavies arriving at Schiphol daily and since PMDG will release their 747 this year I'm very sure many pilots want it :)

Ok, sorry for that, i was just thinking that because Amsterdam is a bigger airport than Sydney, and Sydney took 2 years to create (worth the wait though, very good airport), also is Amsterdam a hard fps area, or was it just the aerosoft airport?

i have heard people say that the Netherlands is hard on fps, is it true?

Aerosofts Amsterdam has alot of polygons (bones) in each object which makes it definitly even worse. The biggest 2 problems with Amsterdam are the ground textures (alot of taxiways) and it's a very busy airport so if you put your traffic to 0% you'll notice a huge huge difference

If you actually went to P3d, you would see that it more than Fs9, or FSX ever hoped to be. You can't compare the two on paper. It's everything, all the subtleties. P3d 2.5 is the smoothest simulator yet. Period :)

Also, lighting, visuals, effects.. now there are companies like oldprop as well making rain effects that need to be seen to be believed, coupled with Flytampa airports, it's breathtaking. You don't know what you're missing my friend :)

dont worry, i know what i am missing, i have fsx and p3d installed on my inferior system as well. and because of my system, the sim i use is fs9. but in a few weeks, i will be getting a new pc.

but i hear that p3ds oom problems are worse than in fsx:steam
