Thanks
Alex
You can get the FS2004 full version which has a "preliminary" FSX of TNCM (only this airport) and then you will be upgraded free of charge to the final version when it is released.
And it never said how long after SP1 was released. Sceneries take time to build so sit back and have patience. Would you rather have something they rushed through as the final version to satisfy people who are impatient or have a very nice final version that they took their time on and would satisfy everyone.

As I wrote in some other thread, you can purchase the slim $21.50 - FS2004 version. After you have the purchase reicept-email write me a separate email to
martin@flytampa.com pointing out your purchase & requesting the FSX download.
The status "Preliminary" is explained in another thread as well. It is not "preliminary" as in unfinished or Beta. I use the word preliminary because FSX has some general issues with addon Airports & I sort of consider FSX itself a preliminary platform.

Martin,
I have been enjoying flying at the FlyTampa TNCM for a while now, and I have a question regarding the future of the FSX version. I am currently in the process of writing an article for Avsim highlighting the Aerosoft Twin Otter X and the FlyTampa TNCM scenery.(FSX) After an exhaustive serach of the forums, I have been unable to find a difinitive answer to my question: Will TFFJ and SABA ever become avalible for FSX? I would be willing to try to port over the FS2004 versions to FSX as well. I think that the addition of Barths and Saba would truly enhance both my review and your FSX product greatly. Please contact me via the forums or by email!

The answer is actually at the beginning of this thread. First paragraph:

The FSX version is limited to St. Maarten (TNCM), do not expect the other 2 islands for FSX.
PS: There are currently no plans for stand-alone versions of St. Barts and Saba.

I am just searching for a solid answer from the developers on the status of the FSX version. There is a glimer of hope with the "do not expect" part that I would love to have confirmed. As I am promoting this product as part of an avsim review, I would like to hear from martin about any developments of Barths and SABA for FSX, and if it is even possible to try and port the FS2004 versions over. I would really appreciate it if a developer could take some time to answer my questions!

The status of FSX-TNCM is "preliminary". The scenery is as done as it gets, the reason I use this label is that I consider FSX itself to be preliminary. It is certainly a great Sim for many reasons, but not to develop these types of airport addons.
FSX versions of TFFJ and SABA do not exist and the FS2004 versions cannot be ported by the user. TNCM does exist but with the label preliminary.
In essence, the FS2004 version is the solid product I stand for and sell, the FSX version is like the SP2 DX10-Preview, strange things can happen.
Sorry if this explanation is confusing, I am fully aware that my priorities should be getting first a therapist and second a marketing person who loves the letter X.

Thank you for the confirmation Martin. I appreciate you explaining the situation surrounding TFFJ and SABA. Is there any progress on an FSX version of TFFJ and SABA? I would love to help out with the FSX version of TFFJ or SABA if it ever materializes.
